Job summary
We are looking for a key technical partner not just to code, but to build the engineering foundation for a $25M revenue system. This role is designed to transition into a CTO position if you have the potential.
You will be a pivotal contributor to the success of our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce business by ensuring the performance, scalability, and innovation of our Shopify platform. Your primary objective will be to develop and optimize eCommerce solutions that drive seamless user experiences, empower our Men’s Health and Women’s Health collections, and support the company’s ambitious revenue targets of $25M by 2025 in all channel including but not limited to Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok Shop. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, resolve technical challenges, enhance Shopify functionality to strengthen the technical foundation of our eCommerce operations.
How We Measure Success?
Conversion Rate Improvement: Drive improvements in our site’s conversion rate through innovative UI/UX design and implementation.
Speed of Implementation: Efficiently develop and deploy new features or updates, maintaining high standards of code quality.
Adoption of Best Practices: Adhere to and promote Shopify’s best practices, modern web development standards, and progressive enhancement techniques.
Bug Resolution Rate: Quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs to maintain a seamless user experience.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
You will play a core role in solving complex technical challenges and shaping the engineering culture of the team.
Develop and maintain eCommerce sites on the Shopify platform, including custom themes, Liquid programming, and third-party app integration.
Lead the development and delivery of technical projects (CRO)LTV/ Business Development), including managing internal and external teams and conducting A/B testing to optimize performance
Ensure website optimization, speed, and security, and explore third-partexpand functionality
Research and evaluate new technologies (AI + Automation) to enhance our products and processes/SOPs, contributing to internal ecommerce-related projects.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Build and maintain the Code Review process, set up the CI/CD pipeline, and provide training for Junior Developers (if any) or manage outsourced development teams.
Drive Innovation (R&D): Proactively research and propose new technology solutions (e.g., Headless architecture, AI Agents) to increase conversion rates and reduce operational costs.
Skills and Qualifications
We need a “Hard-core Engineer” with a Product-builder mindset.
Must-Have:
Expert in Shopify Ecosystem (at least 3 YOE): Deep experience working with Liquid, Storefront API, and Admin API. You have battled through complex Shopify limitations (not just basic theme editing).
Modern Tech Stack: Proven experience using ReactJS/NextJS to build Hydrogen storefronts or Custom Shopify Apps (Node/React).
System Optimization: Strong knowledge of browser optimization, network requests, lazy loading, pre-fetching, and caching strategies.
Leverage AI Tools: Proficiency in using AI coding assistants to maximize productivity and output speed.

Nice-to-have:
Familiarity with Shopify API, GraphQL, and Shopify CLI, as well as best practices in theme development.
Experience with AI and automation tools for eCommerce.
Knowledge of other eCommerce platforms, such as Magento, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce.

Data-Driven E-commerce: Understanding of key metrics (AOV, CR, LTV) and how technology impacts these numbers.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: Attractive monthly salary starting from 1.500$ depending on experience (open to negotiate).
Performance Bonuses: Annual bonuses can be up to 10 months of salary, based on performance measured by net profit, SOP, and adherence to cultural key behaviors.

Working Location
Working Location: On-site, 18A Street No. 38, An Khanh Ward, Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.
Saturday (Culture Day): 6:30 AM - 09:00 AM. We kick off Saturdays with team runs and weekly reflections - mind, body, and momentum aligned.
